Common types of headache:

Tension – caused by tight muscles and lead to pain in the forehead
Migraine – severe pain that can last several days
Cluster – strong headaches that occur on one side of the head
Sinus – often caused by a sinus infection (secondary headache)

Symptoms

Symptoms include nausea, sensitivity to light and sound, and pain in your head, neck or face. If you have a migraine, you may also experience auras, such as flashing lights or blind spots.
Treatment

It can be caused by different things, like stress, not sleeping enough, or not drinking enough water. The cause will influence the best way to treat it. Sometimes, drinking water, resting, and taking over-the-counter pain medicine can help. However, you may need to see a doctor for a severe, persistent headache. They can prescribe stronger medications to treat it.
Prevention

Making lifestyle changes like exercising, managing stress, and getting good sleep can help prevent headaches from happening in the first place.
It’s important to talk to a healthcare provider if you have headaches a lot or they are getting in the way of your daily life. Sometimes, headaches indicate something more serious, such as a neck or brain injury.
